August, 2010 0Knowing the proper food to have when being pregnant will allow you to carry more energetic the activities during the day while the baby is growing healthy inside. Not to mention that the baby will get all the required nutrients from the proper pregnancy diet that you are following. It is indeed a big challenge to follow a diet with all the pregnant woman craving or worse when suffering from daily nauseas. But with a little effort you can reach to this healthy diet allowing your baby to grow healthy as well in a healthy body. Your baby will need in the 1st trimester 100 and then 300 in the 2nd and 3rd. This can be achieved with an addition of a cup of yoghurt and a fruit which should work just fine. On the other hand, being pregnant doesn’t mean that you have to give up all the foods you like. You have to take some wise decisions and replace the liking food with something similar such as its fried potatoes with baked potatoes or sodas replaced with fresh fruits squeezed juice. In this way you can give your baby the nutrients required. Look for foods that contain iron as this one is responsible with the producing of more blood and helps preventing the anemia. This element can be found in spinach, some sorts of cereals, and whole grain bread when following a pregnancy healthy diet. Another important nutrient is protein when helping with the cell wall development including the lungs and heart therefore 3 courses rich in proteins are recommended. Examples are fish, meat, tofu, beans, poultry and cereals. Calcium is the element that helps with the building of the bones and teeth, therefore it is essential to have good intakes of calcium as the mother will lose some during the pregnancy. Bones and teeth will become weaker the moment the pregnancy evolves. 1200 mg of calcium intake per day is required and the foods to bring this to the mother are milk, cheeses (better to avoid the soft ones) and yoghurt. Other vitamins and minerals such as vitamin D and folate (the folic acid), but these should be prescribed by your doctor as supplements inside the pregnancy diet healthy plan. The health of your baby as well as yours are the most important to be cared about and this can be achieved with healthy pregnancy diet as difficult as you might think this to be. Related Posts:![]()
